CLIENT OBJECTIVE

BLVD is the final phase of a dynamic multi-venue entertainment district our clients have developed within a 120,000 sq. ft. abandoned home furnishings store in Bakersfield, CA. The Family Entertainment Center (FEC) is 42,500 sq. ft. and includes fourteen lanes of traditional bowling, eight lanes of private “boutique” bowling, dining, laser tag, arcade games, karaoke, an indoor ropes course, an indoor/outdoor beer garden and an upscale banquet facility for meetings and parties accommodating up to 300 people. The existing building was tired and worn, it was important to the client for us to create an upscale family friendly FEC that will anchor the new Entertainment District and bring vibrancy to a transitional area of Bakersfield.

SOLUTION

The Paradigm team designed a state of the art family-friendly dining and entertainment center.  The facilities design elements embrace Bakersfield’s industrial roots. The recently opened project has been a huge success and drew nearly 1,000 people to its grand opening.
