Businesses and nonprofits get rebates from Consumers Energy for energy-efficiency projects

Close to 2,500 businesses and nonprofits around the state received rebates from Consumers Energy last year after making investments that made their facilities more energy efficient. In Jackson County, 76 customers received money back for spending on 120 projects. They included the county’s largest public school district and largest employer.
